Callie Black
After achieving an MA in Jurisprudence at St Hilda’s College, Oxford University, Callie completed her legal studies at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, receiving distinctions for both her LPC and MA in Legal Practice, and then also completing her LLM in Jurisprudence.”
Her early career was spent with firms in the southwest where she gained specialist family law experience largely working with clients dealing with divorce and financial remedy matters, but also domestic abuse, child arrangements, TOLATA and child support matters, prenuptial agreements, deeds of trust and separation/cohabitation agreements.
Callie’s cases benefit from the intellectual rigour she applies in exploring the facts of the case and pursuing the most favourable outcome for her clients. She instructs experts including PODEs, tax experts, accountants, surveyors, private investigators, psychologists and psychiatrists, when the case demands and has also carried out some of her own advocacy on a variety of family law matters.
